Happy Hearts Bakery
Making Life Sweeter... One Cake Ball at a Time
Thanks for Visiting!
Happy Hearts Bakery is a small, home-based business in southern New Hampshire, and is focused on providing high-quality cake balls - I will do everything I can to meet (and hopefully exceed) your expectations.
What are cake balls you ask? They are everything you would find in a slice of delicious cake (from cake to frosting to toppings) wrapped up into a beautiful, bite-sized (4 or 5 actually), chocolate-covered package. The combination of cake and frosting makes the inside dense, moist and fudgy. They are the perfect, individual-sized dessert treat!
Cake balls are great for gifts, birthday parties, office parties, graduation parties, holiday celebrations ... basically any time people gather to celebrate a happy occasion! After all, who wouldn't enjoy a unique and very yummy treat on a special day?
With a variety of flavors to choose from, I'm sure you'll be happy working with me. Look around the website and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!

About Me
My name is Corinne Lyons, I am 17 years old, and I am home schooled ... and here is my cake ball story ...
I have always loved to bake treats for everyone, and my first efforts came out of my Easy Bake oven. (I do get the feeling that my family enjoys cake balls more than what I made back then!)
When I was 10, we bought my aunt a cake ball cookbook for her birthday. Then we decided we wanted to buy one for us, too! At another family birthday party we heard all about how my cousin was making and selling his woodworking projects at local craft fairs. My dad, who had tried a few of the cake ball recipes, thought maybe I could make cake balls and sell them. He began to teach me everything I needed to know, and we spent 6 months working on our recipes!
Now I can do everything--from shopping through cleaning up the kitchen, but sometimes I hire my sister (she's 15) to help and sometimes my mom and dad help, too, if we are preparing for a large event. My mom and dad have also helped me design flyers, order business cards, and get my web site up and running.
There are many people in my extended family who have had their own businesses, from an uncle who ran a quick print business (and before that, was a banker willing to take a chance on investing in two brothers who wanted to start a pizza business ... now Pizza Hut!!), to an aunt who sells her paintings on her web site and an uncle who once owned a mall. I don't know what the future holds for me (only God does), but I do like making and selling yummy treats and hope you will enjoy them, too!
In my free time I love reading, doing ballet, cosplaying my favorite fictional characters, and volunteering at a Christian camp (Camp Berea)!
